Vice President USA - Zahir Latheef
Zahir Latheef graduated with a BBA and MS in Accounting from Texas A&M, his hometown university in College Station. During this time, he served as President of the MSA, as well as on the board of the local masjid, ICBCS. He has worked extensively with the MSA Lone Star Council, a coalition of MSAs in Texas, in the capacity of Vice Chair, Outreach, and Ex-Officio. He also served on the staff of COMPASS as Faculty Coordinator. Zahir is currently at the University of Houston pursuing a Ph.D. in Management with an emphasis in Organizational Behavior. He lives with his wife in Houston, TX.

Central Zone USA - Aamna Anwer
Aamna Anwer is a graduate of Northwestern University where she received her Bachelors in Spanish. She was an active member of her MSA and worked in a number of committees throughout her college career. Aamna served as a chair of MSA Chicago, an initiative by the Council of Islamic Organizations of Greater Chicago. Additionally, she was a co-chair for the 2010 MSA National annual continental conference.
Currently she works at Islamic Relief’s Midwest Office and plans on pursuing a graduate degree.

West Zone Canada - Furqan Rajput
Furqan is a student at the University of Manitoba, in his final year of a Microbiology major. He was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba and was an active member of the community in various capacities. His work at the local MSA level includes being a volunteer khateeb at the campus’ musalah, participating in the halaqahs on campus, and many more. A side MSA, Furqan is a part of the library committee at his local mosque, where he is in charge of the English department. He is also a member of Islam Alive’s organizing committee, a Western Canadian Conference. He has written for the Manitoba Muslim on several occasions. As well he was a teacher at Noor Weekend Islamic School, which he used to attend. Furqan hopes to bring Western Canada to a revival, wake it up, and make it into a zone that others will look up to as an example.

COMPASS - Dr. Idris Elbakri
Br. Idris completed his B.S. and M.S. at Brigham Young University (BYU) and Ph.D. at the University of Michigan, all in Electrical Engineering. At BYU, he served two terms as MSA chapter vice-president, and while at Michigan served again as MSA president, graduate student representative to the Michigan Student Assembly and vice-president of the Islamic Center of Ann Arbor.
After finishing his Ph.D. in ‘03, he joined MSA National as the vice-chair of the Education and Training Task Force. He currently serves as the chair of COMPASS, MSA National's management training program.
